🏆 2026 Damian D’Angelo Sportsmanship Award Winners Announced

The Damian D'Angelo Sportsmanship Award is named in honor of the founder and former longtime president of the Pembroke Youth Flag Football League. While many dedicated volunteers have played important roles in the league’s growth, it is Damian’s unwavering commitment, time, and passion that have left a lasting mark on the Pembroke youth sports community. His leadership continues to shape the standard of excellence we strive for every season. Thank you, Damian.

Each year, PYFFL coaches are asked to recognize the player on their team who best embodies the spirit of this award. While countless players are worthy of consideration, those selected truly exemplify what it means to “play the game the right way.” They compete with heart, lift up their teammates, maintain a positive attitude, and show respect to opponents, officials, coaches, and the game itself.

The Damian D’Angelo Sportsmanship Awards are presented each year before the Super Bowl of each division, where we celebrate these outstanding players for their character, leadership, and integrity on the field. 🏈 2026 PYFFL Playoff Seeds Announced!

The regular season is officially in the books, and the stage is set for the PYFFL Playoffs. Across every division, teams have battled, competed, improved, and worked hard to get to this point. The final standings are locked, and playoff seeds have been determined in all divisions. Every team is in, every game matters, and it all starts this Thursday night at Mattakeesett.

PYFFL Games Postponed 9/25 & 9/27

With a Nor'easter expected to impact our area this weekend, we've made the decision to postpone all PYFFL games scheduled for Friday, September 25th and Sunday, September 27th.

The storm could bring more than three inches of rain, wind gusts exceeding 50 mph, potential power outages, and flooding.

While it may not be raining during our games on Friday night, the dangerous winds associated with this storm are expected to already be impacting our area. 

With the potential for hazardous conditions throughout the weekend, we believe postponing all games is the right decision for the safety of all involved.

Rescheduling Games

We plan to reschedule all postponed games across Divisions 1 through 9. With a limited number of weekends remaining in the season, finding room for an entire weekend of games is going to be a challenge.

In order to make everything fit, some teams will need to play more than once on a Sunday. We know that's not ideal, but it's the reality of trying to get all of our games played before the end of the regular season.

We ask for your patience as we work through the makeup dates and figure out how to fit everything into our remaining schedule. There are a lot of moving pieces, and we want to make sure we get it right. We'll share the updated schedule as soon as it's ready, and all changes will be reflected in Crossbar.

📸 PYFFL Picture Days - 9/20 & 9/27

Picture Days are coming up on Sunday, September 20th and Sunday, September 27th!

Eastern Exposures will once again be taking both team photos and individual player photos. Please check the attached schedule carefully for your team’s assigned picture date and time.

We will follow up prior to each Picture Day with the specific photographer locations at the fields so everyone knows exactly where to report. UPDATE: For Sun 9/20, the location is behind Field A, beyond the right field fence.

We were able to schedule the overwhelming majority of our teams for pictures on a Sunday when they are already at the fields for a game. Unfortunately, there are eight teams that do not have a game on either September 20 or September 27, so their scheduled picture time will require an extra trip to the fields

Game On! We're Playing Today

Good morning PYFFL!

As of 6:45 AM, we are a GO for all 8:00 AM games.

Our 8:00, 9:00 and 10:00 AM games will be dealing with some rain, but at this point we likely won’t have to worry about the heavier bands until sometime around Noon.

The plan is to play through it.

And honestly, this could end up being a ton of fun. Some of the best football memories are made on days like this. Rain, wet footballs and kids having an absolute blast with their teammates.

As always, we will postpone games if fields begin to flood, conditions become unsafe, or lightning becomes an issue. Any changes will immediately be posted on PembrokeFlagFootball.com and our Facebook page.

For now, grab the rain gear, pack an umbrella and get ready to make some memories. We’ve got football to play!

PYFFL Names Home Decor Group Official Paint Provider

Family-owned company will provide field paint and painting supplies throughout the 2026 season

PEMBROKE, Mass. — Pembroke Youth Flag Football League (PYFFL) is proud to announce Home Decor Group as the Official Paint Provider of PYFFL, a new partnership that will help keep the league’s fields lined, painted and ready for play throughout the entire 2026 season.

Home Decor Group is donating all of the field paint and painting supplies needed by PYFFL’s field crew to maintain the league’s 12 game and practice fields throughout the 2026 season.

The partnership came together through Jonathan Tapper, Managing Partner of Home Decor Group, who worked directly with the league to identify its field maintenance needs and provide the supplies necessary to support them.

Rosters Are Posted. See Your Team in Crossbar!

PYFFL rosters have officially been posted! You can view your player’s team by logging into your account at PembrokeFlagFootball.com or through the Crossbar app.

We strongly encourage every parent to download and use the Crossbar app. Coaches have been instructed to use the app to communicate with their teams throughout the season, including practice information, schedule updates, reminders, and other important announcements. The app will be the best way to make sure you do not miss anything.

Now for a few friendly roster reminders.

PYFFL has 740 players, and every family has its own busy schedule. Our rosters are carefully built with fairness and competitive balance as the priority. PYFFL takes great pride in creating an equal playing field for every athlete and every team.

For that reason, players will not be moved because they hoped to play with a friend, because their team’s practice day does not fit their schedule, or for carpooling purposes.

We do not make trades. The rosters are set.

Coaches will be reaching out through Crossbar very soon with additional information about practices for grades 1–9. Our game schedule is expected to be ready during the first week of August, and the season kicks off on August 30.

We are excited to have all 740 players joining us for another great season of PYFFL football!

Registration for the 2026 PYFFL Unified season is now open!

PYFFL Unified brings together neurodiverse Athletes and neurotypical Partners in an inclusive flag football program focused on teamwork, friendship, skill development, and fun. More than just football, Unified creates opportunities for players of all abilities to build confidence, form meaningful connections, and experience the joy of being part of a team.

The 2026 season will feature a six week program that includes weekly skills clinics, Sunday games, and the PYFFL Unified Jamboree. Participation is open to players ages 10-14, and we welcome both returning families and those joining us for the first time.
