Announcing the 2025 Damian D’Angelo Sportsmanship Award Winners

The Damian D'Angelo Sportsmanship Award is named in honor of the founder and former longtime president of the Pembroke Youth Flag Football League. While many dedicated volunteers have played important roles in the league’s growth, it is Damian’s unwavering commitment, time, and passion that have left a lasting mark on the Pembroke youth sports community. His leadership continues to shape the standard of excellence we strive for every season. Thank you, Damian.

Each year, PYFFL coaches are asked to recognize the player on their team who best embodies the spirit of this award. While countless players are worthy of consideration, those selected truly exemplify what it means to “play the game the right way.” They compete with heart, lift up their teammates, maintain a positive attitude, and show respect to opponents, officials, coaches, and the game itself.

The Damian D’Angelo Sportsmanship Awards are presented each year before the Super Bowl of each division, where we celebrate these outstanding players for their character, leadership, and integrity on the field. Congratulations to all of this year’s recipients. Thank you for representing the very best of PYFFL!
